2026 Safe Gatherings Administrator of the Year

Every organization has someone who keeps the details moving.

They make sure training stays current, background checks are completed, questions get answered, and staff and volunteers know what is expected of them. They may not always be the most visible person in an organization’s safety efforts, but their work plays an important role in keeping everything on track.

That’s why Safe Gatherings is introducing Administrator of the Year—an opportunity to recognize the administrators who go above and beyond to support their organizations and communities.

What Is Administrator of the Year?

Administrator of the Year recognizes a Safe Gatherings administrator who makes a meaningful difference through their dedication, organization, communication, and commitment to safety.

It’s about recognizing the person who takes ownership, supports others, and helps make the process easier for everyone involved.

Maybe they are always willing to answer a question. Maybe they keep everyone on schedule and make sure nothing gets overlooked. Maybe they bring a positive attitude to a process that can involve a lot of moving parts.

Whatever their role looks like day to day, Administrator of the Year is an opportunity to recognize the impact they have on their organization and community.

Who Should You Nominate?

Think about the administrator who consistently goes the extra mile. They might be the person who:

Keeps your Safe Gatherings account organized and up to date
Helps staff and volunteers stay on top of training and background checks
Communicates clearly and follows through
Makes the process easier for others
Supports leadership and their team
Approaches their responsibilities with a positive attitude
Takes their organization’s commitment to safety seriously

If someone consistently goes above and beyond to keep your organization moving forward, they may be the perfect candidate for Administrator of the Year.

Qualifications

Before submitting a nomination, make sure the nominee and organization meet the following requirements:

The organization must have an active Safe Gatherings account and be in good standing with no past-due invoices.
The nominee must be listed as an Admin on the organization’s Safe Gatherings account.
Multiple nominations for the same person are allowed. However, the number of nominations will not affect the final award decision.
The decision process assesses the individual strengths and story of each nominee. One comprehensive submission is preferred.

Tell us about the administrator you believe deserves to be recognized. Share what makes them stand out, how they support your organization, and the impact they have on your staff, volunteers, and community.

A thoughtful nomination helps tell their story and gives us the opportunity to learn more about the work they do behind the scenes.

Winner Announced: Wednesday, October 21, 2026
