Is your church, school, or organization experiencing delays in your application processing? The delay could be something really simple.
When people are applying for Safe Gatherings approval, they enter information about their references. However, an application will be delayed if this information is not correct. For example, if a reference email goes to the wrong email address, that application will be delayed until the error is caught and a new email sent to the correct address.
Encourage applicants to have the correct email and phone numbers for their references ready as they are completing the application. They should always double-check the information. Another tip is to encourage applicants to communicate with their references. That way, if a reference does not receive an intended email, the applicant can double-check the contact details. Correct information = fewer delays!
